Upping the Ante

Assassins grow bolder and bolder. They now go high up in the bureacracy for their target. As the people are, so is their government. The people are fed up with this lie. The government should take care of them. If it doesn't, then people in government are fair game too in the ultimate objective of good governance. Ordinary people commit mistakes and can be punished as provided by law. When those in government repeatedly err with impunity, they invite assassins to serve fully the unwritten law of fear. Fear the One who created life and obey His commandments. If there's no fear of God anymore then chaos ensues. Those in power of governing should have the greatest fear of God as they are the ones to whom much is given. Ordinary people know only ordinary things, they pray that their leaders have that fear of the Lord. If they do not have it, then God has always got some way to remind them. Even the evil does with a laugh.
